Just bought the above and all I cansay what a fab CD player. sounds completely different to my Arcam CD73 . My Audiolab 8000a and 800p and Monitor Audio BR5 speakers sound fuller richer and an all round improvement . I now have the sound I am after no need for a dac and when I come to sell the Arcam will be in profit. Happy days

Rotel were really on a roll at that time. The RCD965BX was a great player as well, and they made some really good budget amps back then too.
