ROTEL RA 820 AX

Hello,

I've just purchased a ROTEL RA 820 AX on ebay. I'd like to use it with an ipod/iphone (presumably via an RCA cable?), and don't have tape or CD decks.

Can anyone tell me whether this set up is possible with this amp?

Yes: you could either use an iPod dock with analogue outputs, and connect into one of the amp's line-ins – CD, tape, tuner, aux, etc – or a simple cable with a 3.5mm stereo headphone plug on one end, connected to the iThing's headphone output, and two phonos on the other end into the same line-ins as above.
