roksan kandy & marx2

Well I am back again just about to spend some money but still cant make my mind up !!

what do you all think is a roksan kandy & ma rx2 good match or not?

must be quick as a pair of exdemo rx2 on a site finish in a while

The Roksan will drive them fine but IMO a better amp could be chosen

The likes of a decent 2nd hand Arcam FMJ A32, Alpha 10 or maybe a Rotel RA1520 would be better suited

The Roksan can sound a bit bright with the RX series speakers.

NAD, Musical Fidelity & the later Cyrus amps work very well with the RX speakers (with Cyrus a smooth CDP (i.e. Rega Apollo) & good copper cable (i.e. Chord Carnival Silverscreen / Odyssey 2) would be way to tame any brightness )

Although I find Kandy's to be strong and entertaining I also find them a bit rough aroung the edges too. Monitor Audios have never been sweet enough for me either. Wouldn't be a match I would enjoy but there will definitely be qualities in that combination that you may enjoy.
