Are there any Caspian FR-5 user give me some advice?

I had a pair, 3 years ago. I trade them in for £900 (rrp was £2000), they were gorgeous piano black finnish.

The sound was excellent, dry but tuneful bass with lovely silky treble. Involving midrange with reasonable imaging. I really did like them a lot.

I think Caspian amp will work better than Kandy, they need sometthing punchy to sound their best imo. When I had them I was using Densen Pre/Power and Audionet ART V2 cd player, sound rather good together.

You meant Caspian amp more punchier than Kandy K2? Even though the power of Kandy K2 (125 watts) is larger than Caspian (85 watts)? I have not heard Caspian amp.
