Hi,
I have a Roksan Caspian amplifier which I recently used to briefly test a pair of car subwoofers (dual 2 ohm voice coils wired incorrectly such that impedance was around 0.6 ohms). Since then, the volume or output of the amplifier has dropped significantly, meaning that I have to turn it up to 3/4 of the way instead of 1/4 before.
I think that perhaps I have damaged the amp by testing the car speakers with it as they were wired up with such a low impedance, I did not however "crank" these speakers up and only had them at intermediate volumes for 10 minutes or so.
Does anyone have any experience of this, or what I may have done to my amp or reccomend somewhere to get it fixed?
Thanks, Matt
