April 2011 p75, talking about 3 different music streaming systems:

“Once all is revealed, there is surprise at the variance in sound, when, in theory, there really shouldn’t have been much difference-digital is digital, after all. And yet:

There was a massive difference between all three of those systems.”

The whole topic leading up to that point has been about streaming and digital to analogue conversion in which there is clearly and always has clearly been a difference both theoretical and in practice. The topic is not easily confused with purely digital transference and yet they have managed it. Is this an April fool, or have the What Hi Fi team really reached Homer Simpson levels of stupidity?

No, but you appear to have reached Chief Wiggum levels of inference, and missed out on some irony in a rather Ned Flanders kind of fashion.
