Review of the Chord CPM 2650?

I notice WHF have reviewed a reasonable amount of Chord Electronics products but wondered whether there was a review in the pipeline of the excellent CPM 2650 integrated amplifier? Certainly better than the Plinius in my opinion and may be just what somebody is looking for if they don't want the bulk of a pre-power combination. OK pricey at £3.5-4k depending on whether you opt for the integra legs or not but better than many pre-power combinations at the same price. I think people would be interested to hear about this integrated.

The 2650 is a stunner and takes inspiration from the Chord CPA 2500 pre amplifier and Chord SPM 650 power amp. At around 2/3 the price it's quite a feat.

At this level an audition is a must - pop down to your local dealer to hear how this differs to others in its price range. Although a little less known, the Gamut Si100 integrated is also worth a listen.
