Replacing my JVC TH-a75 sound surround

Help people i am looking to replace my ageing JVC home cinema(JVC TH-A75) ive seen some fab reviews regardning the lower end onkyo stuff but dont know if this is as good or better than what i have i dont want to down grade...ive been into a couple of dealerships but they dont know enough about the system i currently have...i need your help

Just done a search for your system on t'internet and i reckon a seperates system would knock the socks off it. How much was the JVC, it's normally a good indicator.

think it was about £400 but it came as a package deal though i have seen the onkyo c-5115 package which is dvd player amp and speakers however my system is 7.1 the onkyo is only 5.1

Who cares if it is 5.1 or 7.1. Sound quality is what matters the most.ÿ
