I used to have a pair of 603 s2 as front left and right speakers for my home cinema and music set up. With the CC6 S2 and 601 S2 making up the rest of the speaker package. I replaced it with the MT 30 due to moving to a smaller place but now have the option to upgrade but was wondering whether if would be sufficient in terms of bass and also integration to maintain m Centre and Rear R and L MT1s and just replace the Front R and L and PV1 with a pair of 684s.

System

PS3

Arcam DV79

Yamaha RXV3900

MT 30 speaker package with PV1 sub.

i would keep the sub just upgrade front left & right

or you might regret it

the last few weeks iv had home demo of the 683 & 684 both great speakers

ive chosen the 683 but had to use the bung to tone them down a bit

if you choose to get rid of the pv1 you would miss it for movies

Thanks for that. I'll keep that in mind.

if you change the front left and right speakers you should also change the center so all 3 front speakers sonically match. the B&W HTM61 would be my choice with the speakers your looking at.

Yes. Thanks for that advice. Never considered that.
