Replacement for old CD player

Budget £150 to upgrade CD player from 15 year old Yamaha CDX 460. Still think this player sounds good, but have heard a significant inprovement with a bargain-priced brand new NAD amp (C325 BEE only £70) and now thinking of treating my ears to a new CD player (e.g. NAD 515BEE), based on the idea that advancements in technology almost guarantee further improvement. Manual does not give any technical info at all to compare with current technology. Just wondered what other folk might think...

The C515BEE is your best bet at that price and the differences will be big - CD players have improved no end since your old Yamaha.

Thanks, that's as I'd expected since the amazing difference heard when I replaced the Yamaha amp.
