Replacement cd player

Hi, my Cambridge audio azur 640c v1 has just packed in on me. Richer sounds have give me the option of the same again or a Marantz cd5001 ose. What do ya reckon?

Same again. From hifi+ (the highest of high end mags) - "this is where real CD replay starts".

The cambridge audio cd is better than the marantz. The cambridge 640 is more likely to be at roughly the same level as the marantz 6002 cd.
