Removal of Tannoy Drivers - How?

Does anyone know how to remove the driver from the DC series cabinets? I'm wanting to take a look inside my DC6 SE's but dont want to ruin them in the process. I'm tempted to see if theres any opportunity for upgrading the internals etc.

The drivers are screwed from the front, you have to carefully remove the surrounding grey ring and it's then a matter of unscrewing everything.

Yeah, thats what I thought. Not sure how the silver ring is secured though or how best to lift it up without damaging it.
