I have a planar 3 with an rb300 arm and original power supply so not the external and not the metal plate with holes. Is stands on special dempers and has an ortofon MC element the black quintet and it has been serviced a few years ago. I use a musical Fidelity MC preamp. Would these upgrades benefit my system? Or is the black quintet MC still very good?

I would stay with what you got. It's a good set up.
