Hi guys,

im not much of a poster on here, more a looker, but would like some advice please.

my Rega Mira amp (not a Mira 3 but looks identical) died recently and will be £170+ excluding labour for repair. I paid £220 for it second hand so i dont think its economical for repair.

i may try to claim on some insurance but other than that, what i can i do with it, such a shame for a brilliant amp to just bin it which i dont want to.....

my system was a Pioneer PD-D6-J which i am now selling on ebay as i want to downsize my system....i reckon i might go for the Marantz Cr603...

so back to the amp....ideas please?

thanks

You won't regret it 🙂 (Although the M-CR603 doesn't do SACD.)

I never really took on SACD to be honest so there is no love lost in that department.

I really want something to integrate with my iphone and marantz system im sure is better than the denon alternative.

Superfi have 10% today and marantz free airplay so i think now is the time!

I will need a wireless bridge though, so you can you perhaps help me out on that front.... what do i need to airplay wirelessly with the marantz?

Also will i be able to airplay youtube audio to it and watch the video on the iphone?

thanks

stick it on e-bay as faulty and get what you can for it, you could get it repaired but i doubt you would get the repair cost back if you decided to sell it.
