Rega and rock ´n roll

Hello to all,

I like to listen rock like Nirvana,Tool,Flaming Lips and so on. Some folks says that Rega is better for Jazz. What do you think?Should I buy the Rega DAC or should I choosen another that suits better my preferences for Rock ?
