Recording freeview from TV to PVR - No freeview tuner in PVR

Ok, sounds simple.So I want to record freeview channels from my TV (Panansonic) to my Sony PVR. The Sony has no Freeview tuner so I need to feed the signal from the TV straight to the PVR, but cannot get it to work. This must be simple to do. Any ideas. I will post model numbers up shortly.

I am using Scart. I am not sure what I have available on the back of the recorder. I will check when I get home. What should I use to record the freeview from the tv?

You also have to make sure your TV can actually output a video signal from the Scart - ie that the Scart isn't input-only...

why not just try the TBS 6280 DVB-T2 dual tuner TV card? Using it, you can get two channels, one watching, the other recording

Can only see three posts of the 4 from Mindsturn but all three promoting the same thing, having just joined.???
