Reciever Upgrade, technical experts plz plz plz help

Hi,

I purchased the yamaha RX-V430, 5.1 way back in 2002 after WHAT HIFI (thanks to you) gave it five stars.

Now i want to upgrade to new HD sounnd formats. I have the current setup as listed below.

Plz help buying new Amp(7.1) to match with my current speaker setup.

Budget is around $500-600 for Amp, don't want to go for any speaker upgrades.Main concern: matching Amp with my current speakers

Look at the Yamaha RX-V1065 or the Denon 2310. Both have got 5 star reviews.

kindly shed some light on "speaker - amp matching", can i get wharfedales for the missing two channels to complete my 7.1.

would the yamaha and wharfadales match together?
