Rear speaker positioning

Just waiting for delivery of my PS3, Onkyo 705 and Kef IQ5SE/IQ1/IQ2C/PSW2500 system, I am considering the height of the rear speakers. I have the KEF wall brackets coming and intend to mount them facing in towards the listeners sofa from side walls. But should they be at ear height or higher up, tilted down? I only want to install them once!

Dolby says above ear level by a certain amount, 40cm, if I recall. Personally, I would have them quite a bit above ear level, tilted downwards, a little bit behind, but aimed at the listening position.

You want it further away for a delay. The best way to acheive this is to have them above ear level by a small margin.
