I am looking at finding a way of streaming Hi Res Audio from my NAS drive to my DAC.

Has anybody managed to get this working on a Raspberry Pi with the new Wolfson sound card?

If it works, it would be a really good cheap solution.

Thanks for the advice Dave75. I'm a little offput by the need to solder though - even though it says its easy I'm bound to **** it up. Looking at the Wolson one, I coud get a fully setup PI for well within a ton. A few of the guys I work with use them, as XBMC streamers too which would also be of great use within my media centre.

I suppose the question for the forum before I consider further, is has anybody tried playing Hi Res tracks through a Raspberry Pi system and what's their views on it?

my posts seem to be repeateing themselves. The forum seems to have gone a bit clunky since I last used it. It kept on freezing, hence all of the repeat posts, which I will now attempt to remove!
