Racks and Stands

I've got a decent but low-end Hi Fi system and want an equipment rack and speaker stands to match. Any suggestions?

Apollo available from superfi are good. You can always contact the manufacturer and save some money by buying direct but would have to fetch it from Birmingham. From personal experience i wouldn't touch an optimum rack. I have soundstyle Z2's and they fulfill the stands role for around £80 but partington for better speakers are also recommended.

In my theory, standing on balanced three spikes is more stable than four. I am using speaker stands with four spikes, but i doubt on how balance they can be adjusted. Take a look at a camera's tripod, it is a perfect stand.
