its pointless anyway , how can it be quicker than a normal reply ? you press reply , or quick reply , and type , and press post , no difference ..

yes.just been used to use quick reply, and I tend to forget the webpage stalls...one way to remember it is pressing it

The quick reply is a local javascript, so no contact with the server is made up to the moment you press Post. Probably something wrong with your browser's javascript or the site uses non-standard js.
