for example just listening to marillion and a lot of there songs run into each other - is there anyway to stop the little pause as it changes tracks to allow the music to flow - little thing i know but bugs me!

i have that problem with itunes/spotify and my CA 640H so looking forward to seeing the answers. Dance and live gigs are the worst i feel you pain.

Select the tracks in the album, right click>get info - on one of the tabs there is an option that says 'Part of a gapless album' that you can select. I think that should eliminate pauses between tracks.

If you highlight the Album tracks and then right click. Click on 'Get Info' and on the 'Options' tab there is an option to select if it is a gapless album. Just tick this and it should solve the issue.

Have you enabled gapless playback?

You might need to enable this for all tracks which are part of a gapless album (if you are using crossfade).

Right click the track and select the options tab, then enable gapless playback.

Right, there's a knack to this. Make sure that only the album you want to listen to is in the finder window - if i search for 'pink floyd', and then play Speak To Me/Breathe, I get a little gap between it and On The Run. If I search for 'pink floyd dark side of the moon', and play the same two tracks - no gap.

Give that a go and see if it helps. If not, try this - did a quick flick through the whole album, and I still got one little gap. I then selected all the tracks on the album, right click/get info - in options there's 'gapless album' - I changed that to yes, and that final little gap disappeared.

I think that has covered it!
