Does anybody know of a good 90s or late 80s amplifier that I could get for under £200? I've looked at the Arcam Alpha 7/8/9 etc and decided that I couldn't live with its looks. Also I want something a bit different as I've already used quite a few of them over the years. I currently have a JVC A-X400 which is really great, but I want something a bit better (it only cost me £40). I was also looking at the JVC A-X9 from 1980 which seems really nice - it has 100watts per channel. But this could be too old...

I have a Project Debut turntable, Arcam CD73 and Wharfedale evo2 30 speakers. All of which I am not prepared to change...because I love them!

Any suggestions appreciated...any opinions appreciated!
