Pure DMX50 problems

Hi.

I recently acquired a Pure DMX 50 microsystem for use in the conservatory. Everything was fine for a month or so until the sun came out.?!

The conservatory is south facing and the temperature in the room can reach extream limits when all the windows are closed. The unit was accidently left plugged in on standby. Since then it has not worked. I have changed the fuse but still no joy. Is it possible some component has melted. Any advice that wll save me buying another unit will be gratefully accepted.

Not really sure how we can help, could well be something has melted or warped due to the extreme heat. As the very first line of the manual says,

"Safety instructions
Keep the unit away from heat sources"

I think you need to contact Pure and ask about getting it repaired. Sorry not to be the bearer of better news.
