ps3 reset

i set my 2nd ps3 up on one tv and now i have moved it up to the bedroom but i get no picture or sound both times using the hdmi conection but i think it might be difrent resolutions setting

is there any way i can reset it to give me a picture

Yes, and if memory serves me well it's detailed in the online manual at the playstation site.ÿ

Hold down the power button for 5 seconds as you're switching it on to reset the display back to starters.

ProfessorHats right - I had the same thing. Once you set up the Ps3 for say, 1080p then unplug it and put it on a TV with a lower spec - you need to reset it. Holding down the power for 5 secs resets it. You'll see the power go off then back on.

Screen has a green tint? Are you connecting by scart or HDMi?

Green screen tint ... Maybe look at the display settings further in the Ps3. Now its been reset you may need to put something back 'on'. (sorry if that's vague)

tried most of the settings on and off and the resolutions 480 to 1080i ,hdmi works ok with panasonic dvd player all the way upto 1080i

all setings tried resolutions 16.9 and 4.3,hdmi tested still looks green

must be a rubish tv its a 15"" plaroid from richer sounds only about 10 months old
