No this may sound like a really stupid question, and I'm sure the actual answer is in my question, so feel free to call me stupid! []
Receivers (if in the correct setting of course) automatically detect the sound signal and codec being sent to it. For instance my (Sony) receiver usually sits in automatic and when I bung in a Blu-Ray and it knows what is being sent to it and adjusts accordingly.
My question is, does this work for Dolby Pro Logic???? The reason I ask is when, for instance, a Wii is running through the receiver, it just comes up as 2 channel stereo even though the output from the Wii is in Dolby Pro Logic. Therefore, is it just a case of switching the receiver over to Pro Logic manually?
Thanks in advance!
Craig
