I have asked epson tech. support how to calibrate my EH TW 3200. They replied :

,,In reply to you email, when the projector is purchased it goes through a full calibration before leaving the factory which would then mean that this is not required later.

If you require a bespoke calibration you may need to contact an AV specialist or your AV supplier for 3rd party calibration of the unit.,,

Does it makes sense to buy some dvd or blu ray or even more expensive device to calibrate my projector or not ?

Many thanks

Calibration is always advisable,and tbh honest necessary.

You can either download for free,or buy blu-ray disks just for calibrating projectors and tv's,while these are quite basic they give you the option to set the contrast etc to the correct leval.

A professional calibration usualy costs £200+.

I used a spears and munsil blu-ray.

An internet search will lead you to the free downloads,or you could look at this;

Hope this helps 🙂
