Two questions guys,

1) how long is the attached phono interconnect on this turntable - ie, how close do i have to have it to my amp?

2) connecting to my 875 - what is the best 'version' of the table to go for - regular / SE / Speedbox. does the extra cost warrant the differences between them?

From memory it's about 0.5m, but then my deck has been in the loft for the past year, so I can't quite remember, it could be longer... I got the palin vanilla one and bought a Phono Box as I figured this meant that I could upgrade the phono stage at a later date if I wanted to.

Buy which ever deck has the features you want in the budget you want with the upgradability you want. I would really like to have got a Speed Box, but fund didn't allow.

I was up in the loft earlier getting an old CDP down to sell on eBay, so I measured the cable. It's 1m long.
