Product Recommendations

I am looking for a new system that, hopefully does all of this :

Internet radio / DAB / FM / iPod / CD / Ability to attach external speakers.

Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas?

I'm assuming you want a single/mini system - hence your comment about adding external systems.

However, some idea of budget, size of listening room and sort of music would help...

I would be using it in the living room as the main sound system. Not a complete audiophile, functionality is more important. I know there are products such as Pure Evoke etc, but you can't attach external speakers to them.

Yamaha CRXD430. Comes without speakers so you can choose and attach your own. Available in Black or Silver.

OK, might want to try out the TEAC CR-H500DNT - think it got 4 stars from WHF. I've seen it for around £450 - can't remember if that includes an IPOD dock as standard - though definitely allows for it via USB. Also has DAB/FM/Internet radio.

Doesn't come with speakers as standard, so may add to your cost if you haven't got any...

Sorry, missed the internet radio bit - as scene mentions, the Teac is about your best bet.

Hi all, hope you don't mind me jumping onboard this thread but if you were wanting similar - streaming device/internet radio/amp/speakers/ipod connectivity/dac - for around the £1K mark what would you go for - seperates-wize (unless you know of any outstanding one-box systems at that price point)?

Or do you think I should bite the bullet and pay an extra £400 or so when the naimunitiqute comes out?

I listen to a fair bit of classical and a mix of pop/rock/folk but nothing too bass-heavy
