problem with kuro ?

Hi all i have been having strange picture breakup with my sky hd , or a least i thought it was the sky box .
Now i have a brand new skybox but still have the same picture breakup have a look at these videos i uploaded to youtube in one clip of dark knight watch morgan freeman walk across the screen the image sort of breaks up and on the other clip the 2 cars seem to be jumping , the video quality is not that great but i think you can see what i mean .

as i have replaced the sky box i am now thinking there could be a fault with my tv its a pioneer pdp Lx 5090 ,
any one have any ideas ?

The picture is running at 2X speed in the second video, so was it recorded in Sky HD box? I've noticed this a few times with recorded programmes. That's a problem with the hard disk. I haven't bothered myself with it because it's infrequent.

Have you noticed the problem with live programme, & is it reproduced when playing a blu ray player?

Hi yeah i could see both issues clearly. One thing i would suggest to see if it make a difference is look in the settings to see what if any picture processing modes you have on like noise reduction for example. Turn them off and see if that makes any difference.

Sorry thats about all i can suggest hope you get sorted though.

hi and thanks for the replies i got an email back from pioneer today sugesting turn pure cinema film mode to off , and setting it to 100 hz , im not sure how to change it to 100 hz though as i cant seem to find that as an option ..

I do get this on blu rays to so i am going to do some more viewing now to see if the settings make any difference ..
