I have problemn with connecting Airloc qed plugs to my onkyo 905 amp. I just don't know how to do it. They seem to be to big to fit in that small hole when i unscrew the terminal. I am sure I'm doing something wrong. I have dali ikon 5.1 package and on the speakers side I just pushed them in without unscrewing speakers terminals that is probably wrong as well. And what about that metal jumpers between the terminals in the speakers.?? Do I have to take them all out really when bi-wiring??? please help guys and sorry for my english🙂🙂 I'm struggling to connect m y speakers and I don't want to damage anything!!!

The QED Airloc's are really tight on some terminal's (or vice versa with other cables/ terminals) so you'll need to put a decent amount of pressure, rocking it slightly at the same time.

One thing though, is the 905 new? Don't want to point out the obvious but make sure you have removed the little black plugs from the terminals!

I am a bit concerned about 'the little hole when I unscrew the terminals bit'. This is for bare wire only. You should be able to push the plugs into the ends of the terminals without unscrewing them.

As Octopo stated, ensure you have removed the plastic plugs from the terminals.

As for the Bi-Wiring, Yes you have to remove the bars from the speakers...

I agree. when you get any new equipment the holes for the speaker plugs normally have a small plastic banking insert stuck in them. You need to get this out by gently prising with a small screwdriver or similar. (The manual almost never mentions this).

As has been said if you biwire you can remove the links on the speakers.
