I've just taken delivery of my ProAc D18's, and out of the box they are simply stunning. Got a great deal from my local dealer, but they tell me over 100 hours of run-in is normal. Correct or not?

I read a review of the D18s that said you can hear improvements even after a couple of years!

My experience is that around 50 hours is needed. Great speaker.

The drivers will start to loosen up and have more control after 100 hrs. I have been running mine for more than 500 hrs and I can still hear a different once in a awhile.

That's probably true - if you use them for 5 minutes a day! 😀
