Pro-Ject Debut Carbon or Rega RP 1 Service Pack

I newbie question, I just bought the Rega Brio-R amp and are looking for a turntable. Which would be a better match, Pro-Ject Debut Carbon or Rega RP 1 Service Pack? The price is the about the same.

I know that youre a supposed to match parts from the same maker but i listened to the Rega CD-player together wiht the Rega Brio R and found that a CD player from another maker sounded much better.

Think you've answered your own question. Listen to them and decide which you prefer.

Cartridges make a big difference too.

If you can afford it the rp3 is much better than the 1, don't know about the ProJects. But demo
