Preamp Outputs ?

Hi, I`m fairly new to this and can get my head around this preamp outputs on my rotel ra-04se. Does it mean that I can use the rotel as a dedicated pre amplifier and connect it to a power amp. I have had an offer to buy a Cyrus 8 power, can I use that with the rotel and will it sound good or will it sound really bad because they were not built to go together ?

Yes, you can connect your Rotel to an 8 Power this way. I don't know how it will sound, having never heard the two together (although I happen to be on the lookout for a particular used Rotel preamp to partner with X Power, on recommendation).
