Power Amplifier

Anyone heard of Ghent Audio, they make power amps using B&O ICE modules I am thinking of buying the model GA-S500B which is a dual monoblock giving 500 watts PC into 4 ohms and 250 PC into 8 ohms. Also because it is class D it is very small.

I forgot to say that the ICE used in these amps are used in many manufacturers amplifiers Bel Canto is one for sure

Not sure about class D amps in general, some people don't mind them. I find the sound too steril and harsh.

I have decided to buy one and will let you know what I think.

I will be using the pre out on my Arcam FMJA19 so I can always switch back to the Arcam if it does not work out
