have a Arcam 8 power amp together with an 8 int amp and arcam CD92 cd player up for sale on ebay at moment.More and more i,m playing music from 160 g ipod and dock is it worth keeping the power amp to play 160g classic pod through dock or worth selling and spending cash elswhere.

Are you conidering using the volume on the IPod as a preamp?

Not sure i understand,if the power amp goes i will be left with my ipod the dock and an integrated amp
