Polk Rti A9

Hi guys was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on Polk's RTi A9's. I listened to them the other day on a Onkyo 875 and was quite impressed - found them quite balanced, transparent and great soundstage. Im looking at getting either the 876 or 906 Onkyo. Use for them is 70% HomeTheatre / 30% Hifi. Anyone have any impressions on speakers? Anything else in this range that could do better?

You'd be better off asking in the Home Theatre forum as Onkyo and Polk aren't really hifi components, but you say your hifi listening is only 30%.

There's much much better hifi around at that price if you want a 2 channel home cinema setup. Speakers from the likes of PMC, ProAc, Spendor, Dali etc

And for sound the Onkyo is not even a consideration as far as hifi is concerned.
