PMC 22

Hi all,

I current have PMC 22 and thinking of purcasing Rouge Audio Spinx/Cronus Magnum. Home demo is not available in my country though, thus would like to seek opionion from all if any has prior experience of tube/hybrid tube integrated amp with PMC 22?

I am running PMC speakers with a valve pre-amp and the whole thing sounds great. As a matter of fact I would say that valve amps are almost made to be tamed by speakers from PMC. That transmission line design can really help to "filter out" some of the lack of lower end control that can make some valve amplification sound a little over bloated and woolly at the bottom.

When I demoed the the 22's I was really curious to hear with my valve preamp, I think it would give them a better balance. Just speculation though.

thanks both for the reply, now i have more confidence of matching a valve amp to the 22s!
