plinius 9200 with Celestion A3

After being blown away at my local dealer, I've raided the piggy bank and got the plinius. Thing is after plugging it in to my system, it sounds rather lean in the bass. The CDP is a 5 Arcam cd23, which was really good in it's day. My old Arcam A22 has bags of bass, any suggestions?

I did think that at the time and they are wired ok.

Are you using the same speakers? If so it will just be room acoustics i reckon. I had a similar lack of bass issue from my 805S in my room but noticed that in some areas of my room (ie lying on my bed) the bass is sciesmic where as in other places (my listening chair) its a bit dry. Shame really as i cant change the layout of my room but am looking forward to moving to a bigger room with more flexibility.
