Playstation 3 modifications.

Ive been trawling through the archives looking for a post I belive Mr E made a while ago with a link to a Japanese site about Playstation 3 Modification. Well I have been thus far unsuccessful, but was wondering about isolation feet, power cables, minor modifications and bitmapping setting, to get the best out of the old 60GB version.

I did make a post some time ago that the Playstation sucked at playing CDs and SACDs, but I recently went back to it, and I must say my opinion has been changed. It can only really boil down to having been warmed up, as I last tried SACDs when it came out of the box.

So... suggestions, and help finding that post! please.

Fitting a 16 core braided cable to my PS3 made a world of difference to the sound (I have a 60Gb version)

Mine is also powered through an 'Isotek Sigmas' and sat on an atacama shelf

FULL RGB 'shouldnt' be on as its still in 8 bit and so you gain nothing (Aside from the download 'life' which I believe does use DEEP COLOUR), so use LIMITED even if you have a 'deep colour' capable tv
