I don't know if this has been discussed before, if so I apologise.

Ever since I bought the LX82 2 years ago it has had some quirky behaviour.

The most irritating is that with my projector switched off (not in stand-by), the amp just does not work. It switches on, but remains completely silent.

For the amp to work I have to put the projector in stand-by or disconnect the hdmi before switching on the amp. With the tv there is no problem.

I have switched on/off Kuro-link, changed HDMI cable, ... but no luck.

By now, I have been waiting for about 2 years now for a software/firmware update (to fix the switching on with the remote issue), but nothing.

I was hoping that that update would also solve the other proiblem - they are minor issues but they are very irritating for an otherwise excellent amp.

I contacted Pioneer again, but they do not understand the problem. The problem is "unknown" at Pioneer.

Anyone here with the same issues ? And more importantly - a solution ?

Thanks

My projector is the Panasonic pt-ae4000.

I've just read somewhere it's a compability issue between the 2.

Anyone with the same issue and a solution ?

Thx
