Which is best for music? I want a DVD player that is multiformat for DVD-A and SACD, preferably with multi-channel sound output over HDMI...CD stereo sound better than a budget stand-alone would also be an advantage. So, not wanting too much for £200 then? yes, seen both for that bargain price!

If you can stretch to £250(previously £900) you could get an Arcam DV135 from superfi. This should blow either of the above out the water.

Thanks, appreciate your response. Was seriously considering the arcam til I realised it only outputs DVD-A and SACD as 2 channel. As I aso own the normal CD versions of the SACD/DVD-A albums that I want to listen to in 5.1 surround, having the 5.1 version output as 2 channel is not really what I want.
