Pioneer BDP LX54

Hi,

Does anyone know when the above player will have the firmware upgrade to enable DLNA?

I contacted Pioneer CS in April and asked the question, the answer was it would be available soon, the tech guys in Japan were working on it...

Could all owners return this player and the BDP430 as neither are 'as advertised'. I've had mine 6 months.

Last I heard was about a week ago (on a different forum), apparently Pioneer said an update was coming "within the month".

I was wondering exactly the same. I think it's a bit poor to advertise a feature and then whisper very quietly, "when we get round to adding it". I hope they get round to providing an update soon. If it doesn't get the update by the time I fancy a new BDP then I will be taking the player back for sure!

Hi,

Got an update last night which allows the BDPLX54 to see my music on my PC - I've sat here for over 10 minutes waiting for something to play!!

Seems it can see my PC as a server but has some difficulty playing the tracks (all mp3).

Anyone else?
