Picture problems

I have pioneer kuro 50 plasma , onkyo 607 amp , subwoofer , panasonic blu ray player and sky digital

When I switch the equip. on .I only hear sound. After a long while , the picture appears (tv) blu ray ok. This delay has got progressively worse from 30 mins to a now 3 hours . Once on the picture remains until i switch off for the day but the same problem persists the next day. I have my screen on the wall and I paid for the hdmi cabling to be attached about 2 years ago . It worked fine at first.....I have explained the problem to who installed it. They say that they have never heard of this problem before. I am now at my wits end and do hope that someone can help me with this frustrating problem.

I have never had a problem with no picture appearing only a problem with my V+ box dropping the video for a second or two. (black screen on tv for a second or two).

This was cured by swapping hdmi cables over, which remakes the connection.

Yours sounds a bit like a handshaking problem so start by unplugging and replugging all of your hdmi cables.
