picked up a triple x-170 psu for my mf v8 cdp

would be interested to see if makes a difference - can just use the v8dac now as a dac not a power supply - i wonder how much of a positive effect this will have or whether will notice nothing - no brainer though as paid £190 for it new and a secoond hand one sold yesterday on ebay for just under £300 so shouldn't end up out of pocket - wonder if it will have similar effect to how the cyrus kit works

def has positive effect on matching amp but not sure about the cdp

well now sounds smoother and a little more bass to boot - i know a lot of cable sceptics out there but thought £200 for this was prob better than buying a mains cables - althought using with a merlin tarrantula
