Philips 9706 review?

In the review could comment upon the differences in picture quality from its predecessor. thx

We are due to get a 9000 series Philips, but are still waiting... But we'll continue to push for a set ASAP

One of my colleagues will be with Philips at the IFA Show in Berlin later this week, so rest assured he'll be raising the issue of review samples (or rather lack of them) with the company.

Philips have also removed a bunch of TVs from their website - unless there's something really odd going on with my browser...

They are now no-longer listing their 2011 TVs in the 9000 series range that are smaller than 46". They were about a week ago (possibly even just a few days ago).

This is slightly alarming as I don't have space on the bit of wall in my lounge for the 46" TV (or the need to buy over 42")

The support rep I've just had a long chat with was helpful, but not able to tell me anything.

I didn't speak to Philips about it personally - need time to talk to my WHF colleagues whom did! Update Monday, when we have our full IFA overview meet. But plenty more to come from Berlin yet!
