Philips 42PFL9664 and Sony BDP S370

Hi, I am definitely going to get the Philips 42PFL9664 soon and have read on this site that the Sony BDP S370 blu ray player was one of the best for its price. However, as they are different brands I want to know how compatible they are together.

I have a Sony CRT TV at the moment with a JVC dvd player and although the picture is ok I have to turn up the volume on the tv almost full when using the JVC dvd player. Is it likely something similar could be a problem when using the Philips tv and Sony Blu Ray?

I have a philips tv with a pioneer blu ray player and i have never had any problems, also i have seen quite a few different models and makes together on recent tvs and they have been okay.

I would of thought you would be fine

Thanks, I'll give this a go. If I have ny probs I suppose I could always take the blu ray back if I'm not happy.

Just make sure you read the terms and conditions on the receipt first
