pdp70a and 875 connect

please can u tell me the best way to connect the pioneer pdplx70a, onkyod 875 and sony 40w2000? I currently have hdmi 1.3 from pioneer to the au and same to the tv. Also, i have the settings on the bluray at 1080p always and im guessing that, as the signal is goin through the av, the 875 is trying to upscale? And the tv as well? The more i read, the more nurefen i need! Thanks guys and gals. Ps. Got new mag but cant wait another month to find out how to connect it properly.

I would have thought you would connect your player to your receiver then the output from your receiver to your telly. Although i'm not familiar with any of your kit, it does seem to be the norm way to do it!
