I'm looking for some speakers for my PC, mainly for music (jazz, folk, some electronica) with a few movies and games thrown in. I'll never have the volume very high and bass isn't really my thing.
Budget is up to £160 and so far I've had a listen to the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks III which I thought were great, but I absolutely hate the design. I've read good things about the Aego M 2.1 set for around £125, so they're high on my list.
Are there any others I should be thinking about?
I definitely want brand-new stuff and I'm not interested in a separate amp with passive bookshelves due to size, cost, and over-complexity.
