Partnering A Rotel RA-04 with Mordaunt Short Avant 902i

Hi

I need advice.

I have a pair of Mordaunt Short 902i speakers which I currently partner with a marantz PM4001 amplifier.

I find that the sound is not bright enough. I wonder if I bought a rotel RA-04 amplifier would it partner well with my mordaunt short speakers.

Mordaunt Short and Marantz not bright enough? I doubt the Rotel amplifier will make much of a difference. Try some different cabling perhaps?

I was previously listening (for about 10 years) to an Onkyo and Tannoy Combination.

The sound was very bright, but it didn't have the stereo imaging and sound spaciousness of the Mordaunt Short Marantz combo.

So I thought if I put in the rotel amplifier would this improve the sound.

Did what hi fi ever recommend a Mordaunt Short 902i and rotel combination

If you have the money, try the Rotel RA-04 with some Focal Chorus 706V speakers. I use this combination and it sounds like the speakers were made for the RA-04 amp. Try it if you can.
